Pool Deliveries
Availability
Our 85:15 Commodity Pools are available for the following binned grades and port zones.
- Wheat: milling; APH2, H1, H2, AUH2, APW1, ASW1 and AGP1 durum; DR1 and DR2
- Barley: FB1 and MALT1
- Canola: CSO1-A
- Port Zones: Port Kembla, Newcastle, Geelong, Melbourne and Portland
Growers with grain outside these binned grades or port zones and still wanting to access our 85:15 Commodity Pools can utilise CPOL’s Cash Allocation Option to fund their entry into these pools.
Please Note: While specific availability requests from growers are welcomed, Commodity Pool Operations Ltd reserves the right to add or remove any of the above listed binned grades or port zones at our discretion.
Offer Size
85:15 Wheat Pool & 85:15 Barley Pool
250 metric tonnes is the minimum physical tonnage accepted per grower for these two pools.
85:15 Canola Pool
60 metric tonnes is the minimum physical tonnage accepted per grower.
Delivery Sites
Grain transfers into our 85:15 Commodity Pools is only accepted for grain delivered to an upcountry GrainCorp site located within CPOL’s designated port zones.

As pool acceptance increases and driven primarily by requests from growers for availability, additional bulk handling companies, their sites and port zones may be added. In the interim, growers located outside designated port zones can access our 85:15 Commodity Pools by utilising CPoL’s Cash Allocation Option to fund their entry into these pools.
Steps to Follow for Physical Grain Deliveries
Prior to harvest:
1. You would fill out a Pool Application Agreement with us and return it to our office.
At harvest:
2. You deliver grain to your local silo, as per normal, for delivery into the pool.
3. You transfer this grain across to Commodity Pool Operations Limited (CPOL).
From here, we do the rest.
